Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Janie S. Dickens; sons, Clifford A. (Josephine) Dickens, III, Phillip Wayne Dickens and James Frank Dickens; step-sons, William Harold (Linda) Spivey and Ronald P. (Juanita) Spivey; sister, Jane Pasker; sister-in-law, Mary Peake and her son, Chris Stowers; grandchildren, Clifford A. Dickens, IV, Mary Dagmar Dickens, William Harold Spivey, III, Krystal Maria (David) Massey and David Thomas Spivey and great-grandchildren, Ashby Dalton Massey, Natalie Peyton Massey and Spivey Andrew Massey.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cecil Williamson officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, September 5, 2008 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Harold Spivey, Trey Spivey, David Massey, Chris Stowers, David Massey, II and Clifton Pitts.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
