CMSgt (Retired) Ralph Clayton Jones age 91 of Selma, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 surrounded by his family and family.

He was born on January 15, 1931 in Mayfield, Kentucky to the late Clyde Jones and the late Luradean Bone Jones.

He was a retired Medical Tech with the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Martha "Gerry' Jones; children, Sheryl Jones Asher, Kevin Jones (Sabine), Mark Jones; step-son, Kevin Swanson (Sue Turner); grandchildren, Christy Sevier (Chris), Alicia Gentile (Aaron), Jessica Jones (Mario), and Kevin D. Jones; great-grandchildren, Ethan Sevier, Andrey Sevier, and Xander Gentile; nephew, Jerry Jones (Linda) ; special niece, Donna Strazi; and family pets, Duke and Hope.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents; daughter-in-law, Kellie Jones; granddaughter, Kimberley Asher; grandson, Austin Jones; brother, Charles Jones; and sister-in-law, Betty Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Barnes officiating.

Interment will follow with military honors in Pineview Memory Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m..
