Constance Nimrod Ember

Constance Nimrod Ember born July 2, 1935 in Glencoe, Oklahoma died March 28, 2013 at Park Place in Selma. She is survived by her Husband, Ed Ember; sons, Steve Ember (Jan), David Ember (Elisa), Donald Brian Ember and Philip Melton; sister, Jacque Roberson (Van); brother, Daniel Nimrod (Carol); 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

She retired at age 65, as credit manager of Hileg Myers furniture store. She was a long time member of Temple Mishkan Israel, where she served a term as President of "The Council of Jewish Women". She was an avid buyer and seller of antiques and collectibles. She also made stained glass and etched glass windows and was a past member of the Selma Art Guild.

Graveside services will be Monday April 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Live Oak Cemetery with Steve Grossman officiating and Lawrence Brown- Service Funeral Home directing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Temple Mishkan Israel in Selma, Al or a charity of your choice in Connie's name.
