Corey Lee

Corey Dylan Lee died February 4, 2019 at the age of 23.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maurice Macon Lee, Sr., Cathey Solomon Lee and Roger P. Burton.

He is survived by his son, Sawyer Travis Mitchell; parents, Maurice "Mark" (Susan) Lee, Jr. and Tami Wéinberger; sisters, Kaitlyn Lee, April Helms (Corey) Day; brothers, Joseph Helms and William (Chasity) Greene; grandparents, Chéri (Jim) Brown, Betty Mae (Curt) Morris and Nese Burton and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Minister David Pettaway officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday beginning at 12:00 p.m. Immediately following the interment, the family will retire to Selma Church of God for a meal and fellowship with friends.

Pallbearers will be Corey Day, Randall Yelder, Ricky Yelder, Brandon Smith, Blaine Hobbie, Kendall Smith and Joseph Helms.

Funeral expenses have been covered, however, in lieu of flowers you may consider donating towards his monument and the remainder to go to a trust fund that will be set up for his son, Sawyer by clicking the green "Appeal For Donations" button to the left.
