Corinne S. Nichols, age 73 of Selma passed away on Thursday May 7, 2009 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing and burial following at New Live Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband, James H. Nichols, Sr., a daughter, Debra H. Horne (Larry) of Greensboro, grandchildren, Kelly Thomas (Jonathan), Lynn Pearson (Chris), Michael Horne (Pamela), 5 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Magnolia Mitchell (J.C.) of Bessemer, and Brazilda Beard of Northport, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, James H. Nichols, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Saturday May 9, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
