Curtis Patterson

James Curtis Patterson, Sr., age 83, of Selma, AL, passed away May 9, 2016. Curtis was the owner of Dallas Heat and Air for forty-five years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobson L. and Birdie Alma Patterson; brothers, Verlon Patterson and Horace L. Patterson, and sisters, Orene Patterson Chandler and Una Faye Patterson Lawrence. Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Wilma Glenn Patterson; sons, James C. (Cynthia) Patterson, Jr. and Stephen W. (Jane) Patterson; sister-in-law, Mary Patterson; grandchildren, Adam (Megan) Patterson and Stephanie (Bert) Scott; great-grandchildren, Blaine Scott, Blythe Scott, Easton Patterson and Emery Patterson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with R. O. Eubanks and Rev. Carraway officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30-2:00 p.m. The employees of Dallas Air will serve as pallbearers.
