Dan Claybourn (D.C.) Beville, born on Dec. 18, 1929 in Center Hill, Fl, passed away on May 9, 2014.
D.C. attended Bushnell High School and the University of Florida. He is a Navy Veteran, worked as a farmer and rancher and was the owner of Bar-D-Outfit Western Store. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, the Elk, VFW and Moose Lodge of Selma. D.C. was also an avid Florida Gator Football fan and enjoyed his family and time they spent together.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Frances Dolores Gray Beville.
He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Marie Beville, Donna Frances Beville and Darby Lynn (Robert) Massey; grandchildren, Marie Maddock (Jeremy) Rines, Mandi Maddock (Bobby) Hargis, Clay (Julie) Massey and Cody (Jorgianne) Massey and great grandchildren, Stephanie, Andrew, Hailey, Sydney Kate and Brantley.
A private family graveside burial was held at Ocmulgee Baptist Church Cemetery on May 13, 2014.
