Daniel Ryan McDowell, age 20, of Selma, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard A. McDowell.
Ryan is survived by his mother, Pat Stoves McDowell; sister, Hannah McDowell; brother, Jason (Aimee) McDowell of Bluffton, SC; nephews, Jeff McDowell and Carson McDowell of Bluffton, SC; cousins, Lara Till of Birmingham, AL and Steven Wells of Wilmington, NC; aunts and uncles, Bruce and Marge Till of Valley Grande and Victor and Jo Wells of Wilmington, and numerous other relatives.
Ryan was a 2012 graduate of Morgan Academy and attended WCCS in electricity and welding. He was employed by Advantage Concrete.
Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Kopp officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 9:30 - 11:00 at the church and burial will follow at Plantersville Christian Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Josh Ashcraft, Justin Friday, Jeff McDowell, Will Wilkerson, Brian Sanderson, Riley Hopkins, Craig Price, and Will Silas.
