Dannie Hean

Dannie Small Hean, age 85, of Tuscumbia, Alabama passed away Wednesday April 18, 2012. She attended Judson College and the University of Alabama. She was a member of the Tuscumbia First United Methodist Church. She was beloved by her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was known by her grand and great grandchildren as "Grand" and to her nieces and nephews as "Aunt Tat". On Saturday April 21st at 3:00 pm, there will be a graveside service at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, Alabama with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hean was preceded in death by her daughter Annie Miriah Hean, her son-in-law, John Killham, her parents, W.D. Small and Annie Laurie Small, her Brothers, Bill Small, Monte Small, and Derrell Small, and her Sisters, Ladean Small and Jane Wheeler.
She is survived by her brother Joe Small(Sue) of Fostoria, Al., her daughters, Josephine Killham of Russellville, Al., Laurie Gray(Steve) and Theresa Farler(Jerry) of Florence, Monte Pomroy(Tim) of Fleming Island Fl., and Rachel Dobson(Greg) of Macon, Ga, her son George J. Hean Jr.(Maryjane) of Muscle Shoals, Al. and many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katherine Killham, Emily Crayton(Tommy), James Gray(Hayley), Annie Laurie Gray, Kevin Hean, Caroline Hean, Dallas Walker(David), Daniel Duke, Katherine Farler, Jerry Farler Jr., Adam Farler, Keith Farler, Court Pomroy, Lucas Pomroy, Amanda De Muro(Mauro), Meredith Dobson, Elizabeth Dobson, Henry Dobson, and Peter Dobson.
Great grandchildren, Isabella Duke, Ava Walker, Kaylie Nestle, Alexzander Duke, Bryson Duke, Destany Duke, Anniston Farler, and Marshall Farler.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tuscumbia First United Methodist Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
