David Eugene Paxton, Sr., age 77, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away September 7, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Paxton and Doris Morgan.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Paxton; children, David Eugene (Beth) Paxton Jr., Donald (Emily) Walker and Dwayne Allen Paxton; sister, Linda Pittman; brother, Michael Mitchem; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be Monday, September 10, 2018 at 12:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Bozeman officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Golden, James Golden, Arlon Thacker, Kenny Hicks, Ethan Ferrell and Donnie Nevin.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Grady Flint and Dr. Shane Vinson.
