David Earl Pierce

David Earl Pierce of Selma, Alabama passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his home at the age of 55.

He was born in Selma, Alabama to the late Robert Lamar Pierce, Jr. and Carol Sue Helms Pierce.

He was a painter.

David is survived by his mother, Sue Rogers (Terry); sister, Tammi Chandler (Keith); daughters, Rebecca Pierce and Shannon Pierce; niece, Miranda Reed (Trent); and nephew, JR Chandler (Teresa).

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lamar Pierce Jr.; brother, Robert Charles Pierce; and grandparents, Charles and Virginia Helms and Floyd and Verma Lee Guthrie.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Chandler officiating.

Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens.  

Pallbearers will be JR Chandler, Doug Rogers, Tommy Beach, Bubba Adams, Charles Roy Helms, and Hunter Helms.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
