David Spangenberg passed away May 7, 2016 at the age of 55. He was born January 24, 1961 to George and Flora Spangenberg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Spangenberg; later wife, Linda Faye Thompson; brother, John Spangenberg, Jr.; nephew, Michael Nelson Spangenberg and son, David Julian.
He is survived by his children, Johnny (Anetta), Melissa (Mike), Teresa (Jerry), April and Georgia (Mike S.); step-children, Michael (Desere') and Jennifer; his parents; sister, Marissa Tiana Spangenberg; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Allen, Ronnie, Michael, Aubry, Brian and Melvin.
