David L. Tyler

Mr. David L. Tyler of Selma, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma at the age of 65.

He was born on February 11, 1958 to the late Vernon Tyler and the late Flora "Jean" Hamlett Tyler.

He was a former business owner and well remembered as the owner of Charlie's Bar here in Selma.

David is survived by his brother, Michael (Penny) Tyler; sister, Pamela (Henry) Moss; nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Sloan) Smith, Brandon (Shannon) Tyler, Austin Tyler, Sarah Moss, and Mathyn Moss; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Seth Smith, Symone Smith, Sydney Smith, Makayla Tyler and Caleb Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no funeral services. David's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes be scattered across a place that he loves. the Alabama River.

Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Selma Funeral Home.
