Davis Skrobak

Davis Franklin Skrobak, age 66, of Selma, AL, passed away January 15, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Appel Skrobak; Sons, Frank Robert (Joedy) Skrobak and Walter Scott (Christina) Skrobak; mother-in-law, Margaret Appel; sisters-in-law, Marshelle Appel, Kate (Kim) Himes and Meg Youngblood, and grandchildren, Ashton Payge Skrobak, Blair Sydney Skrobak, Kyle Robert Skrobak and Ryan David Skrobak. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Houston Park Church of Christ with Tom McLemore officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 11:30-1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Robert Skrobak, Walter Skrobak, Stewart Corley, Lewis Stone, Cosby Carmichael and Don Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Selma-Dallas County Rescue Squad and the Craig Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Skrobak was a co-founder and member of Selma-Dallas County Rescue Squad, Craig Volunteer Fire Department and Reserve Deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.
