Diane Nichols

Diane Nichols passed away January 16, 2021 at the age of 69. She was born March 19, 1951 in Selma, Alabama.

For over 20 years she was a cosmetologist in Selma. She loved animals, especially her horses and her dog, Lewie.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Leonora Haney Miller; father, Jesse Woodrow Nichols, Sr.; brothers, Steven Nichols and Stewart Nichols.

She is survived by her daughters, Alisha (Chuck) Brooks, Amanda (Darryl) Gilliland; grandchildren, Elisabeth (Jason) Richardson, Allison (Zack) Thompson, Billy "B.J." (Teirria) Moore, Ashley (Shane) Minor, Cody Ammons, Cory Miller, Jacob Miller; great-grandchildren, Daniel Christian, Marissa Abigail Wheatley, Brent Moore, Liam Stanford, Ava Stanford, Eden Richardson, Eli Thompson, Keira Minor and Mason Thompson; mother, Annie Florence Campbell Nichols; siblings, Jesse Woodrow (Dawn Marie) Nichols, Jr. and Kenneth Dawson (Jenny) Nichols, Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Blake officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin before the service at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page, at http://watchlawrence.live for those unable to attend in person.

Pallbearers will be B.J. Moore, Chuck Brooks, Zack Thompson, Darryl Gilliland, Shane Minor and Ken Nichols, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Richardson and Scott Stanford.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society or another cancer charity of your choice.
