Donald Carden

Donald Ray Carden, age 71, of Selma, AL, passed away September 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Carden; former wife, Mamie L. Carden; sister, Helen Anderson and brother, John Carden, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Carden; children, Becky (Wendell) Richardson, Roger (Peggy) Barlow, Lillian Richey, Carolyn (Samuel) Duncan, Kevin (Susan) Johnson and Shawn (Cheryl) Johnson; sister, Marjorie Church; brother, Bill (Betty) Carden, sister-in-law, Charlotte Carden; grandchildren, Roger Barlow, Jr., William B. Barlow, Timothy C. Barlow, Tony Barlow, Bryan Barlow, Tanner Merritt, Matthew Richey, Michelle Duncan, Amber Duncan, Lea Johnson, Billy Johnson and Madelyn Johnson and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Bayne officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be the Frank Little Sunday School Class at Sister Springs Baptist Church, Mark Cooper, Bobby Gann, Rodney Posey, Gene Adams, Buddy Thomas, Sam Miller, Roland Hamilton, Tony Hinson, Willard Barnes and Carroll Serman.
