Donald Hughes

Donald Crawford Hughes, age 78, of Selma, AL, passed away September 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Grady Hughes. Surviving are his wife, Annelle Watters Hughes; mother, Velma Arlene Hughes; daughters, Cynthia (Robert) Jones of Tallahassee, FL and Donna (Mickey) Patterson of Selma, AL; sisters, Glenda (Bill) Lawrence of Calera, AL and Wanda (Harry) Holliman of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Amanda Craig of New Braunfels, TX, Stephanie Craig (Jeffrey) Herrod of Selma, AL and Robert Donald Jones of Tallahassee, FL. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Elkdale Baptist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Honorary pallbearers will be The Frank Earnest Sunday School Class of Elkdale Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Elkdale Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 2221 Elkdale St., Selma, AL, 36701.
