Doris Arnold

Doris Elaine Lowery Arnold, age 79, died Wednesday July 7, 2010 in Shelby County. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Bessie Lowery; sisters, Lucille Thomas and Rita Helms; brothers, Joe Mathis, J.C. Lowery and Henry M. Lowery; daughter, Lulla Bell Fondren, great-grandchildren, Christopher Lovelady and Katherine Ward.
She is survived by her children, Marjorie Elaine Greene, John Floyd Arnold (Roberta), Donna Jean Arnold and Carol Bunn; grandchildren, Kim Fondren (Jim), Rhonda Andrews (Jay), Charles Kevin Fondren (Patricia), Tina Clements (Rob), Colleen Gracey (Chuck), Ashley Fondren, Mary Dunny (Adam), Dalila Mathews (Charles), Stephanie Arnold, John Eric Arnold, David Taschner, Daniel Taschner, Jennifer Greene, Brad Fondren and Carissa Adams; sisters, Jean Longcrier and Belle Mooney; brother, Paul Lowery; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday July 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with reverend John Adams officiating and burial following at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday July 9, 2010.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Lovelady, Tyler Andrews, Kevin Fondren, John Arnold, Jay Andrews, Rob Clements and Brad Fondren.
