Doris Morgan

Doris Morgan, age 84, of Monroeville, AL, (formerly of Selma, AL) passed away February 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. B. Morgan; brother, Herman Siegel and sisters, Florence Jaffe and Mathilda Lanhoff. Surviving are her sons, Harry "Buddy" (Jackie) Morgan and Charlie (Sherry) Morgan; daughters, Mary Alice (Donald) Shumate and Betty (Dean) Gengler; grandchildren, Lisa Shumate, Doug (Susan) Shumate, J. D. (Jennifer) Shumate, Kayla Carlisle, Ryan (Darlene) Morgan, Phillip (Casey) Morgan, Jenna Morgan, Jeremy (Annmarie) Morgan, Lori (Anthony) Turner, Brooke Gengler, Nicole Gengler, Kelsey Gengler and Nate Gengler and great-grandchildren, Douglas Shumate, Lauren Shumate, Kirsten Shumate, Grace Morgan, Cutler Turner and Peyton Morgan. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1800 West Dallas Avenue, Selma, AL 36701.
