Doris Buckley

Doris Lee Herrod Buckley, age 90, of Pelham, AL, passed away April 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Lula Herrod; husband, Richard Buckley; son, Ted Buckley; brothers, Henry Herrod and Tom Herrod and sister, Frances Pendarvis. Surviving are her children, Karen (Robert) Pennington and R. J. (Suzanne) Buckley; brother, William Herrod; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Dr. Jerry Light officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 p.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staffs of The Gardens of Pelham Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care and kindness. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, 201 Medical Center Pkwy., Clanton, AL 35045.
