Dorothy Hearon

Dorothy Edna Hearon passed away on May 2, 2019 at the age of 79.

Graveside services will be 2:00 a.m. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Dr. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

She is preceded by her parents, Sidney and Virginia Turner; sisters, Betty Weaver and Ann Hollingshead; daughter, Cheryl Ann Gresham.

Mrs. Hearon is survived by her children, Christopher Frank Moore, Jason Hearon (Tabitha); son-in-law, Michael Gresham; grandchildren, Christopher Michael Moore, Steven Gresham, Logan Moore, Alex Moore, and Ethan Hearon; sister, Carol Sacks; brother, Michael Turner; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tom Sacks, Logan Moore, Neil Osborne, Joseph Sacks, and Will Summerlin.

Mrs. Hearon was employed for the railroad for over 25 years. She was an avid oil painter and even taught art. At a young age she was baptized in the 7thDay Adventist Church.
