Dorothy Hebing

Dorothy Eileen Schauer Hebing, passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 92.

Graveside services will be 12:00 Friday, August 21, 2020 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Lawrence Hebing; brother: Dale Schauer, Ray Schauer; sister: Marian Lackey; first cousin: Kenny Krienke.

Mrs. Hebing is survived by her daughter: Becky (Dave) Hissom; brother: Pat Schauer; nephews: Clyde Lee Alcox, Charles Alcox, Stan Schauer, Bill Schauer; niece: Sidney Farr; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was born in Pecatonica, IL. She loved the outdoors and animals, especially horses.  When she was young, she always said she was going to marry a cowboy...and she did.  Dorothy and Lawrence performed several rodeo acts including trick riding, rope twirling, bull whip stunts and showing a pony named Spunky who performed over a hundred tricks.  Dorothy was also a barrel racer and a horse trainer.

The family requests that safe social distancing is practiced by all attendees.
