Dorothy Moore

Dorothy Deian Moore, age 77, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on August 20, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Cathlyn Fitzgerald, and brother, Charles Robert Fitzgerald. Surviving are her husband, Charles Moore, and numerous nieces and nephews. Deian was a dedicated employee of the Chamber of Commerce of Selma, Alabama. After nearly a decade of serving the Chamber, she left to manage the businesses in Montgomery, Alabama that she and her husband, Charles, grew and operated for more than 30 years. Deian was exceedingly kind, generous, and loving. She spent her life in concern and care for others. Deian will be sorely missed by her family and the many others whose lives she touched. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Ingram officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens following the service. Pallbearers will be Deian's nephews: Chris Jung, Spencer Jung, Scott Moore, Billy Moore, Brett Moore, Mike Moore, and Dean Moore. Honorary pallbearer is Byron Moore.
