Dorothy Hall Pharr

Dorothy Hall Pharr passed away April 12, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born June 11, 1944 to the late Ward Thomas Hall and Syrilla Crocker Hall.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert L. Hall, Johnnie W. Hall and Herbert Hall.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Medfort C. Pharr; sister-in-law, Shirley Coxwell of Thomasville; niece, Jackie (Waymon) Qualls, Diane (Jeff) Smedley; nephew, Randy (Kathy) Morgan and Thomas (Michele) Coxwell and her beloved companion, Brownie.

Graveside services will Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Mike Perry officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home of Selma directing. There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be Steve South, Paul Lucas, Leon Ezell, Thomas Coxwell, Jeff Smedley and Randy Morgan. Honorary pallbearers will be Christine Browder and the nurses and staff of SouthernCare New Beacon Hospice.
