Edith Baggett

Edith Tucker Baggett, age 87, longtime resident of Orrville, died Monday June 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Mahlon Baggett; parents James and Annie Tucker; brothers, James A. Tucker and Joseph E. Tucker and granddaughter, Deana Richards. Survivors include her son, Buster Baggett (Ahna) of Titus, AL; daughter, Linda Faye Richards (Tommy) of Catherine, AL; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Baggett served as Chief Probate Clerk for Dallas County under Judge Johnny Jones for many years.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday June 29, 2012 at Orrville United Methodist Church with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing and burial following in Orrville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Mulder Methodist Church, 3454 Firetower Rd.Wetumpka, AL 36093 or to Lamison Baptist Church, P.O. Box 21 Catherine, AL 36728.
