Edith Pierson

Edith Pierson, of Plantersville, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the age of 67.

Edith was a retired nurse once working at Selma Medical Center, UAB Family Medicine, and International Paper Riverdale Mill.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Plantersville Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Wyatt officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

She is preceded in death by her parents: William Watson Pierson, Mary Shivers Pierson, and sister Karen Pierson Simmons.

She is survived by her son, David Pierson, grandson, Devin Pierson, brother in law, Bennie Simmons, nephew, Ben Simmons (Julie), nieces, Kathy Simmons Webber (Bobby), Kristie Simmons McElroy (Ronnie), and special family friends, Christy, Tommy, & Lauren Missildine.

The Family would also like to thank Kindred Hospice of Montgomery and staff for the care of Mrs. Pierson.

Pallbearers will be: Devin Pierson, Ben Simmons, Kevin Simmons, David Smith, Bobby Webber, and Henry Webber.
