Edward Massey

Edward Leon Massey , 74, of Selma passed away Sunday October 25, 2009 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Casey Church of Christ in Tyler with Dr. Robert H. Taylor officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Mr. Massey is preceded in death by his parents, Eddie P. and Eunice Hewston Massey and his wife Martha Irvin Massey. Mr. Massey is survived by his son, Robert S. Massey (Darby) and his grandsons, Clay Massey (Julie) of Chunchula, AL and Cody Massey (Girlfriend Erica Rutherford) of Tuscaloosa, AL Pallbearers will be Cheyenne Bradford, Allen Murray, Mike Stokes, Mike Frith, Lee Jones and Steve South.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Selma-Dallas County Animal Shelter or The Casey Church of Christ Cemetery Fund. A special thanks to Dr. Jack Burns and his nurse Suzanne Worthy, Fireman at Station #4 and Cahaba Hospice.
