Elizabeth Crosby McCormick, age 90, of Prattville, AL passed away March 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gus McCormick; brother, Ralph Crosby and sisters, Hazel Jones and Lillian Humphries. Surviving are her sons, William A. (Dorothy Annette) McCormick, Jr. and Eugene C. (Sylvia) McCormick; daughter, Mildred R. "Millie" Ledford; grandchildren, Melissa (Mark) Bilter, Amy (Billy) Freeman, Kim (K. C.) Moreland; Kristen (Steve) Reed and Jason (Lindsey) Ledford; great-grandchildren, Christian Freeman, Connor Freeman, Ansley Freeman, Gabbie Bilter, Ryder Bilter, Railene Bilter, Kaylee Ledford, Aidan Galloway, Nathan Ledford, Olivia Reed, Avery Reed and Hayden Moreland and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens with Pastor Rick Moore and Rev. Robert Bayne officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing. The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 8, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jason Ledford, Steven Reed, John McCormick, Billy Freeman, Fred McCormick, David Paulsen, Bill Jones and Mark Carmichael. Mrs. McCormick was born and raised in Selma, AL and was a long time member of Sister Springs Baptist Church. She was a current member of Fountain City Baptist Church in Prattville, AL. She was a past member of the Emblem Club and past-president of the American Legion in Selma. AL.
