Elizabeth Rogers

Elizabeth D. Rogers age 81 of Marion Junction passed away on Tuesday April 20, 2010 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held on Thursday April 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Marion Junction Cemetery with Rev. Ed Byrum officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hoyt Rogers, Sr. She is survived by her children, Samuel Hoyt Rogers, Jr., (Shirra) of LaGrange , GA, Warren Edward Rogers of Marion, AL, Sandra Heard (Oliver) of Decatur, AL, grandchildren, Heather Evans (Lex), Wendy Rogers, Sammie Griffin, Stevie Griffin, Nicholas Heard, Jason Heard, great-grandchildren, Mason Jones, Landon Murphy, Emma Heard, a brother, Murray Dunkin, and two sisters, Pat Abbott and Nell Lewis. Active Pallbearers will be Frank Rogers, Jerry Rogers, Steve Abbott, Jimmy Holliman, Billy Moore, Walter Seekers, and Gene Pegues. The family will receive friends on Thursday April 22, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Marion Junction Presbyterian Church.
