Ella Gill

Ella Ruth Kelley Gill passed away July 1, 2021 at the age of 64. She was born November 14, 1956 to the late Wilbert Eugene and Ella Mae Kelley.

Ella Gill, or “Grandma Ruth” to her friends and family was an amazing woman and if you didn’t know her; you would wish you did; she was a firecracker of a woman but as sweet as Alabama sweet tea. She had a strong heart and a soul that could shake even the devil.

She is survived by her children, Kristy Langston, Bobby Caron, Libby Gee, Kelly Martin, Angela Faushight and Bobby Gill; grandchildren, Nicholas Langston, Christina Jones, Makayla Langston, Robert Langston, Matthew Worthington, Brianna Dillow, Alexis Flennory, Jr. Matthews, Leum Clibrey, Bella Clibrey, Armelia Rich, Amanda Haze, Josh Haze, Jacob Haze and brothers, Greg Kelley and Kent Kelley.

She is joining her husband, Larry Gill and brothers, Donnie Kelley and Tommie Kelley.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Pastor Joshua Gill officiating at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Grandma Ruth will forever be missed and loved by her family and friends.
