Elois Bowen

Elois Strickland Bowen, age 89, of Selma, AL. passed away April 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel and Bertha Strickland; brother, Linwood Strickland; sisters, Hughlene Law, Frances Denson and June Biedermann. Surviving are her husband, David Bowen; children, Elaine (Doug) Bouder, Ellen (Gene) Ireland and Sandra (Charlie) Shoultz; sister, Barbara Goodman; six grandchildren, Angie Hammons, David Pitts (Priscilla), Warren Reaves, Scotty Reaves, Laurie Hall (Mitchell) and Josh Shoultz; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Monday, May 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Blake officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be members of Northside Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Glory Bound and Harmony Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northside Baptist Church.
