Ernest Lamar Casey, Jr. passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the age of 86 surrounded by his family. He was born May 12, 1931 to the late Ernest Lamar Casey, Sr. and Mamie Lois Jackson Casey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Harris Casey.
He is survived by his son, Jack (Renee) Callen of Selma; daughters, Candy (Rick) Enkeboll of Auburn, Connie (Collin) McCrary of Troy and Cheryl (Lewis) Fryer of Blakely, Georgia; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, William L. (Pat) Casey of Carlowville and Jerry (Peggy) Casey of Carrolton, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Light officiating. Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Fred Holladay, III, David Holladay, Ronnie Holladay, Dave Lyon, Jim Mason and Willie “Nuh” Williams.
