Ernest Hollingshead, Jr.

Ernest "Ernie" Lee Hollingshead, Jr., age 56, of Valley Grande, AL, passed away June 2, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred L. Hollingshead Shoults, who passed away in February of this year. Surviving are his wife, Ann Hollingshead; father, Ernest Lee Hollingshead, Sr.; step-father, Carlos Shoults; daughter, Leigh Ann Hollingshead; step-daughter, Gwen Murray (Larry) English; step-son, Donald Turner; brother-in-law, Mike Turner; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Hearon and Carol Sacks; half-sisters, Gail Hollingshead Cox and Charlotte McDonald; uncle, Charles Little and step-grandchildren, Trey Summerlin, Justin Turner and Sean Turner. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends, Friday, June 4, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dave Crocker, Larry English, William "Bill" Heard, III, Trey Summerlin, Ray Hollingshead and Kenneth Martin. Honorary pallbearer will be Dave Crocker.
