Esther Chappelle

Esther Mae Chappelle passed away on September 14, 2020 at the age of 85. She was born July 29, 1935 to the late Jesse Alphonso and Vesta Ida Moore Willis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses Delbert Chappelle and her son, Christopher Eric Chappelle.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Christine) Chappelle, Jonathan (Debby) Chappelle, Lisa (Steve) Chappelle Burrow, Renè Chappelle (Ric) Lockhart, ReAnna Chappelle (Travis) Westbrook and Destiny Chappelle; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian (Bob) Hollis and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Church of God with Pastor Jon Chappelle officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at the church at 1:00 p.m. The service will be live streamed via Facebook at http://watchlawrence.live .

Pallbearers will be Derrick Lockhart, Michael Chappelle, David Moore, Elijah Chappelle, Matt Andrews and Travis Westbrook.
