Ethelene Mitchell

Ethelene Sewell Mitchell passed away December 25, 2019 at the age of 89. She was born July 20, 1930 to the late John Thomas Sewell and Minnie Lillian Bearden Sewell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Benjamin Mitchell; great-grandson, William Matthew Skelton and son-in-law, William Tindoll. She was the last remaining of her siblings.

She is survived by her children, Rita Helen Tindoll, Larry Samuel (Christa) Mitchell and Scott Allen Mitchell (Mary Brunson); grandchildren, Tammy Renea Tindoll, Nancy Denise (Ronnie) Davis, Waylon Samuel (Sarah) Mitchell, Sayward Amanda (Dee) Ratliff, Carol Ann (Jim) Evans and Karen Nicole Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Stewart Lambert, Courtney Jacobs, Joshua Lockhart, Lauren Lockhart, Nolan Fancher, Grady Mitchell, Audrey Mitchell, Luke Ratliff, Lilliam Ratliff, Lane Ratliff, August Evans, Maxwell Evans, Ava Whitehead and Presley Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Everly Lambert, Andrew Jacobs, Toya Jacobs, Michaela Lockhart and Jace Lockhart.

Graveside services will be Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
