Eunice Lewellen

Eunice Griffin Lewellen passed away May 8, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born April 27, 1927 to the late James and Margaret Griffin.

She was a long time member of Joy Sunday School Class and Prime Timers at Elkdale Baptist Church. She graduated from A.G. Parrish High School and retired from Craig Air Force Base after 20 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her son, James Rudolph Lewellen; sons-in-law, Neal Clary and Johney Young; sister, Margaret Ann Griffin and Polly (Andy) Remetta and brother, Jimmy (Nadine) Griffin and Kenneth Griffin; sister-in-law, Sandra (Ron) Dickinson; dedicated former husband, Rudolph Lewellen and beloved pet, Ladybug.

She is survived by her children, Carol Young, Sharon Clary and Gary (Joy) Lewellen; grandchildren, Chris (April) Ezelle, Dawn Lewellen, Justin (Natalie) Lewellen and Kristina Clary; great-grandchildren, Christian Ezelle and Christopher Ezelle; great-great-grandaughter, Emerlyn Wheeler; brother-in-law, Noel (Patricia) Cooper; sister-in-law, Joyce (Ronnie) Ross and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Guy Anderson officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Noel Cooper, Chris Ezelle, Christopher Ezelle, Darrell Cooper, Todd Cooper and Ronnie Harrell.
