Evard Larry Ross, age 63, of Selma, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011.
He is preceded by his parents: Joseph and Uldean Faye Ross, Sr.
Mr. Ross is survived by his daughter: Michelle (Charles) Smith of Selma; son: Clay Ross of Clanton and their mother: Wanda Scott; brother, Joseph Daniel Ross Jr.; sister: Lucia Harris of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren: Cody Thornton, Kaitlyn Thornton, Makayla Smith, Claudia Ross; and a host of relatives.
Evard Ross served his country in the army where he earned the National Defense Metal, Vietnam Service Metal with 2 bronze stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device 1960, 2 O/S Bars, Sharpshooter (M14), Expert(M60), Marksman(M16), and Combat Infantryman Badge(fawd).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 6-8p.m. at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.
