Evelyn Grindle

Evelyn "Nikki" Grindle, age 76, of Selma, AL, passed away January 21, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Evelyn Henry; brother, Watt Henry and sister, Jane Boley. She is survived by her husband, Roland "Sonny" Grindle, Jr; children, Wanda (Ken) Richmond, Debbie (Glenn) Barrett, Roland Grindle, III, Scott (Jan) Grindle, Ken (Wanda) Grindle and Pat (Monica) Grindle; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and sisters, Shirley Smyly, Cecile Simmons and Dorothy Lang. Funeral services will be Friday, January 24, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Grindle and Marvin Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Covenant Christian Church, 241 Old Marion Jct. Road, Selma, AL, 36701.
