Evelyn Pickering

Evelyn V. Pickering passed from this life surrounded by her loving family on February 4, 2015 at the age of 93. She will be remembered for her kind, caring and loving demeanor towards her family, friends and everyone she came in contact with.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James W. Pickering.
Awaiting in heaven, she leaves behind her sons, James (Paula) Pickering, Jr., Lee (Charlotte) Pickering and Mike Pickering; grandsons, Jay Pickering, Paul (Amy) Pickering and Richie (Tamra) Pickering; great-grandchildren, Tripp and Allie and sister, Clara Barnes (D.C.) Champion.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Plantersville Christian Cemetery with Pastor Joshua Henry officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all of their mother's caregivers at Park Place Nursing Home for their tender and loving care.
