Evelyn Spigner

Evelyn Spigner, age 86 of Jones passed away on March 31, 2009 at Prattville Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Jones with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. She was born March 30, 1923 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband, O.T. Spigner in 1998, her parents Peter and Helena Van Dongen, and three brothers, Lawrence, John and Donald Van Dongen. She is survived by her daughter, Marky Moore (Ronnie) of Jones, daughter, Victoria Jamora, and step-daughter, Barbara Branch (Doug) of Aurora, Colorado, her granddaughter, Wendi Moore, and grandson, Wesley Moore (Jennifer) of Madison, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her brother, Richard Van Dongen (Barbara), and sisters-in-law, Mary Etta Van Dongen and Lorna Van Dongen, all of New Mexico. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Alzheimer���s Association. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Friday April 3, 2009 at the funeral home.
