She is survived by her husband, Rev. George K. Jones, Sr.; daughters, Cynthia (James) Dominy and Kim (Mike) Burk; sons, Karl (Deborah) Jones and Alan (Kristi) Jones; grandchildren, Melise (Andy) Bain, Jennifer Dominy, Christopher (Lisa) Dominy, Amanda Burk, Haley Burk, Aaron Michael Jones, Luke Jones and Sidney Jones; great-grandchildren, Ethan Bain, Peyton Bain, Mackenzie Dominy and Braden Dominy; sister, Billie Nell (Guy) Cothron; brother-in-law, Bill (Liz) Jones; sisters-in-law, Nell (Ed) Vaughan and Grace Middleton; her adopted daughter, Amy Tierce and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 11:00 .am. at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. George K. Jones, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at Fairview Baptist Church, Monday, July 6, 2009 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Karl Jones, Alan Jones, James Dominy, Mike Burk, Christopher Dominy, Andy Bain and Aaron Michael Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1800 W. Dallas Avenue, Selma, AL 36701 or Cahaba Hospice, 410 Church Street, Selma, AL 36701.
