Faye Strickland

Faye Strickland, of Selma, AL, passed away February 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Strickland, Jr. Surviving are her children, Wanda (Rick) Champion, David (Ashley) Strickland; sister, Evelyn A. Johnson; brother, Tony (Brenda) Andrews; sister-in-law, Faye Andrews; grandchildren, Brian Champion and Ashley C. (Schylur) Parrish and great-grandchildren, Kloe Champion, McKenzee, Ethan, Nathan and Trenton Parrish. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cory Horton officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, February 5, 2015 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eric Parr, Harrell Giles, Kevin Parr, Tim Hubbard, Tim Gibbs, Ric Wilson and Mike Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Johnson, Larry Johnson and Tony Andrews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Cedar Hill Assisted Living, 1300 Old Orrville Rd., Selma, AL or Southland Nursing Home, 500 Shivers Terrace, Marion, AL 36756.
