Preceding Florence in death were her parents George and Nina Zerbey; husband Peter Butts and her grandson, Austin Butts.
Her sons, William Butts, Vance (Savannah) Butts and David Lee, daughters, Laura Butts and Susan Butts and her sister, Margaret (Greg) Brown, survive her. Her grandchildren, Susan Butts, Robert Gardner, IV, Vincent Loveless, William Gardner, Erinne Spaulding, Joseph Morse, Vanessa Butts and Vineque Butts; nephews, Bruce Houghwot, Jr. and Kenneth Houghot; nieces, Jessica Brown, Nina Vanderwork and great niece, Justine Houghwot, also survive Florence.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home.
