Frances Powell Friday, age 88, of Selma, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015.
She is preceded by her husband: Frank Friday; and parents: Erskine and Celeste Powell.
Mrs. Friday is survived by her sister: Ann P. Friday (Fred); nieces: Fran Yocum, Martha K. Freeman, Barbra Wilburn, Beth Delcambre, Brenda Powell; nephew: James Powell; and special neice: Ann Elizabeth Yocum.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Westwood Baptist Church with Rev. Winston Brooks and Dr. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10-11 at Westwood Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Michael Fondren, Butch Barnes, Zaron Craig, Dr. Julio Delgado , Michael Powell, and Tommy Ellis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Westwood Baptist Church 4085 US-80, Selma, AL 36701.
