Frances Cordelia Hean McDonald went on to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2022. She was born June 30, 1935 to the late George Mallard Bruner and Bessie Ezelle Bruner.
She was the owner and operator of H&H Manufacturing for over 30 years in Selma; raised three children on her own, after her first husband passed away in 1971, taking on the role of mother and father. She was a well-known businesswoman and a blessing to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Hean and Gerald McDonald; sister, Daisy Ruth Cochran.
She is survived by daughters, Selina (Tommy) Harris, Rosemary Hean, Sissy (Beau) Cook; grandchildren, Mary Kathryn (Rusty) Marks, John Harris, Rebecca Hicks, Blaire (Ivan) Robledo, Brock (Felicia) Cook, Blaine (Caroline) Cook and Brooke Cook; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, George Bruner and William Bruner and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Fr. Steve Hornat officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Interment will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
