Frances Prickett

Frances Amelia Moore Prickett, age 62, of Irondale, AL, passed away on April 30, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, David Lee and Viola Ruth Moore; and sisters, Bernice Blackerby, Minnie Rivers and Nannie Bell Tyler. Surviving are her son, Jerry Wayne (Janet) Prickett; daughters, Dione Ash and Belinda (Ricky) Smith; brothers, David (Alice) Moore, Billy (Ann) Moore, Macon Moore and Henry (Doris) Moore; sisters, Betty Jo Kendrick, Ruth Arthur, Shirley (Jerry) Davis and June (Phil) Furlough; eight grandchildren, Michael Prickett, Blake Wyatt, Sharon Wyatt, Shannon Wyatt, Tiffany Wyatt, Meghan Ash, Lauren Ash and Cody Prickett; one great-grandchild, Brianna Prickett and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Shipp officiating. Interment will be in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Selma Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Davis, Christopher Moore, Larry Moore, Dakota Davis, Bobby Moore and Lynn Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael Prickett and Blake Wyatt. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Gideons Bible Fund, P. O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214.
