Frances Moorer

Frances Godwin Moorer, age 86, of Selma, AL, passed away Friday, October 23,2015. She was a Godly wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved her family and never allowed anyone to leave her house with an empty stomach. She had the hands and heart of a servant. She touched many lives and left many beautiful memories.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Roy Moorer; son, Calvin Moorer; parents, Otto and Beatrice Godwin; one sister and three brothers.

Surviving are two sons, Conrad (Cynthia) Moorer, Curtis (Darlene) Moorer, and daughter-in-law Cheryl Haddix; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother.

Visitation is Monday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Selma, Alabama from 6-8. The funeral will take place Tuesday, October 27th at Casey Church of Christ. The family will receive friends prior to service from 9-10:00.

Pallbearers will be Todd Moorer, Jared Moorer, Austin Moorer, Braxton Cutler, James Cutler, Randal Bates and Wheeler Chance.
