Frances Irene Fails Robinson

Mrs. Frances Irene Fails Robinson of Selma, Alabama entered her Heavenly home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at the age of 94.

She was born September 14, 1929 in Alabama to the late Wiley G. Fails, Sr. and Addie Burkett Fails. 

Mrs. Robinson was a proud member of the former Selma Church of God. She loved the Lord and her family with an unending love. She will always be remembered as a prayer warrior and woman of faith. She was loved by her family and friends and always made sure they knew and could feel her love. She and Mr. Robinson were married for 71 1/2 years until his passing in 2019 and she has longed to be reunited with him ever since. What a reunion has taken place now that she is finally home. 

Mrs. Robinson is survived by her children, Carolyn Myers (Charles), Dianne Chandler (Mike), Johnny Robinson (Judy) and David Robinson (Cindy); nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Robinson; her parents, Wiley and Addie Fails; and siblings, Wiley G. Fails, Jr., Alford Fails, Maggie Bailey, Catherine Fails, and Marilyn Klumpp.

Homegoing services for Mrs. Robinson will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. LaRue Caraway and Rev. Robert E. Pugh officiating. 

Interment will follow in the Pineview Memory Gardens in Valley Grande, Alabama. 

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joel Chandler, John Chandler, Adam Robinson, Jeff Robinson, Matthew Robinson; and great-grandson, Cameron Duke.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
