Frank Gordon ���Pap��� Johnson, age 78, of Selma, died Tuesday February 2, 2010. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Johnson, children, Melindy Johnson of Selma, Patty South (Ronnie), Drue Lee (Tony) and Carlton Underwood (Kiki); grandchildren, Taylor South, Will South, Daniel Lee, Dalton Lee, Franklin Underwood; brothers, Furniss Johson (Tommie) of Florida, Ellis Johnson (Violet) and James Johnson of Selma; sister, Della Johson Hamner, numerous nieces, nephews and friends and special friend and caregiver, Ernestine Murphy.
Mr. Johnson was a Korean War veteran, a retired CSX Railroad man, as well as a well-known cattle farmer. He loved watching his grandsons play sports, hunting and fishing, hosting the fourth of July barbeque and playing cards with his friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday January 4, 2010 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Renovation Fund, P.O. Box 1186 Selma, AL 36701.
Pallbearers will be Taylor South, Will South, Daniel Lee, Dalton Lee, Carlton Underwood and Eddie Sharp.
