Gary Mayton

Gary Marshall Mayton passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 73. He was born July 29, 1948 to James Edward Mayton and Lorraine Jowers Williamson.

Mr. Mayton was preceded in death by his father, James Mayton; stepfather Donald Emmett Smith.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Williamson; daughter, Gina (Greg) Lane; son, Chad Mayton; granddaughters, Lauren (Trent) Jordan and Brooke (Jonathan) Pugh; grandson, Taylor Mayton; sister, Joy (Woody) Collins; brother, Ted (Karen) Smith; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Fairview Baptist Church on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Denny McClendon and Rev. Tom Stacey officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin at 12:30 P.M., before the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers will be Austin Lightfoot, Glenn Stewart, Johnny Stewart, Trent Jordan, Jonathan Pugh, Greg Lane, Bill Porter, and Taylor Mayton.
